Restaurants in Torremolinos
There are numerous places to eat in Torremolinos, from fast food chains to traditional Spanish restaurants and English cafes. If you do fancy some real traditional Spanish food, then head towards the picturesque Carihuela area where you will find a variety of seafood and tapas bars. If you dont fancy any of the typical Spanish food, dont panic, as there are Italian, French, Indian and Chinese restaurants too. Many of the restaurants are child friendly and offer childrens menus.
Night Life in Torremolinos
Torremolinos boasts the liveliest nightlife on the southern coast of Spain with hundreds of discos, bars, clubs and a thriving gay scene. In spite of its reputation, Torremolinos has evening entertainment to suit everyone. Eighteen to thirties have a huge choice of bars and clubs, including Pipers which is said to be Europes largest disco, where you can danceall night until the sun begins to rise. The marina is a vibrant and colourful night spot with many bars featuring liveentertainment. There are also Salsa clubs and Flamenco bars. The gay scene is centred around La Nogalera which has many bars and drag clubs. IF you are looking for a more sedate night out you will find plenty of smaller, laid back pubs and bars scattered throughout the resort.
Activities in Torremolinos
Torremolinos is a popular place for water sports fans and you can try out jet skiing, wind surfing and parasailing as well as banana boat rides! If youre not feeling too energetic then the beach is a great place to just relax and soak up the sun with the warm sea ideal for a dip to cool off. Golf enthusiasts will be in heaven as the Costa del Sol is home to an abundance of them! A fantastic day out for everyone is to the Aqualand water park, which has lots of fun water chutes and flumes. An interesting excursion is to the Crocodile Park where you can view crocodile feeding times and enjoy guided tours. Torremolinos also has plenty of shopping opportunities for those that feel like a bit of retail therapy! Avenida Palma de Mallorca is the main road through the town centre and you will find plenty of places to buy clothes and souvenirs of your holiday.
