Restaurants in Agadir
There is plenty of choice for places to wine and dine in Agadir and you will find something to suite every choice. Why not try a bowl of tasty couscous or some of the other traditional Moroccan dishes? Being one of Morocco’s most popular holiday resorts most types of food are on offer, from amazingly fresh fish to delightful stews and sweet pastries! The choice of venue is brilliant too! Sit by the sea front and watch the world go by whilst you enjoy a perfectly cooked meal, or grab some food on the go from one of the street vendors whilst you explore the market. Most hotels will also offer an international menu although food is generally served buffet style in their on site restaurants. French and Berber influences can be seen in many of the traditional dishes so you will be pleasantly surprised by some of the local food on offer! Night Life in Agadir
As the sun sets in Agadir, a whole new side to life in the resort springs up! Although not as busy as some of the Mediterranean hotspots, there is still plenty going on. The main strip becomes a neon lit road with music drifting out from each bar and there are plenty of places to choose from to suit your mood. If you fancy dancing the night away there are many nightclubs to choose from and many of them don’t open until quite late at night! If you fancy some traditional entertainment head to a belly dancing show, that can be found in many of the local restaurants. Although Morocco is a Muslim country, alcohol is still easily available and served in most restaurants and bars. Most hotels will also have their own bars and animation team who will provide fun evening entertainment, such as live shows, competitions and discos.
Activities in Agadir
Agadir holidays are generally very much based around the beach, where sun worshippers flock to lounge on the sand and bronze their skin, occasionally going for a dip in the sea to cool off. There are numerous water sports available such as jet skiing, wind surfing, parasailing and sailing. For some fantastic views over the city, head to the Kasbah, where you will be amazed at the stunning scenery on offer and the fantastic colours of the sky as the sun begins to set. There are a lot of places to shop in Agadir where you can buy various souvenirs of your time in Morocco, although you should remember not to accept the first price offered as haggling is a way of life and you may well end up with a brilliant bargain!
