Corralejo
Once a working fishing village, the resort of Corralejo has become Fuerteventura's busiest holiday destination. Located on the northern tip of the island the town enjoys some of the most fabulous beaches in the Canaries. The town itself is positively brimming with all the amenities needed to enjoy an unforgettable holiday. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to cater to every taste and the nightlife is everything you would expect from the island's number one vacation destination.
Caleta de Fuste
Known also as Castillo this, one of the island's busiest resorts, is located about ten kilometres south of
the airport. The resort as a whole is undergoing a period of careful development with the introduction of numerous civic amenities including a brand new eighteen-hole golf course. The town itself consists of one main street along which are the lively bars, shops and restaurants. The horseshoe shaped main beach is covered with gorgeous golden sand and offers a range of water related activities. Nightlife is fairly energetic and there is plenty to do for all ages.
Costa Antigua
The village of Antigua is located in the east of Fuerteventura close by to the popular tourist resort of Caleta de Fuste. It is one of the oldest village's in Fuerteventura and once for one year only was the capital of the island. Antigua is known for it markets and this is advertised where and when this will be taking place. Nightlife in Antigua very low key with only a few small local bars! So if you are looking for a night out or to eat out in the evening then you will have to go to its close by resort - Caleta de Fuste. You will find a few local shops, cafes and bars, a post office, clinic, library and school.
Costa Calma
This small and pleasant resort on Fuerteventura's south coast offers a peaceful holiday retreat for those who want to get away from it all. The local beach boasts the most amazing expanse of fine white sand that shelves gently into the turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Bathing is very safe around this part of the coast and the area is very popular with wind-surfers and kite-boarders.
