There are plenty of places to eat in Protaras offering food from around the world. Night Life in Protaras
Protaras is nowhere near as busy as its neighbour Ayia Napa when it comes to nightlife but there is still plenty of bars, pubs and clubs to keep guests entertained. As the sun goes down, Protaras really springs to life as all of the bars play their music to get your attention! There is something to suit everyone, whether you are looking for a small laid back pub to a bustling bar playing the latest music! Those that want a really big night out tend to head to nearby Ayia Napa, which is famous around the world for its nightclubs and bars. There are plenty of Taxi’s available to take you to and from the resort. Most hotels will also have their own entertainment programme of an evening with live shows, karaoke and children’s discos.

Activities in Protaras
There is plenty to do in and around Protaras, so guests will never get bored. The beaches are often called the best in Cyprus, and the sands are golden with crystal clear waters. Of course many of the beaches have numerous water sports on offer, such as jet skiing and parasailing. There are also many walking trails across the cliffs and coastline of Protaras that are not too taxing and offer spectacular views and roman ruins. There is also a beautiful small Orthodox church located at the top of a hill with a remembrance tree where you can leave tokens for loved ones. A fun day out for all of the family is to the large water park just outside of Ayia Napa with plenty of fun water slides and rides to keep children entertained. If you hire a car a trip to the Troodos Mountains is a must, you can experience the traditional mountain villages of Cyprus.
