Ibiza boasts some of the biggest and best nightclubs in the world is renowned for being the party capital of Europe. To the north west of Ibiza lies the island of Majorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands and it attracts over six million visitors a year. Majorca is an island of many contrasts, with animated and bustling holiday resorts in the south west and stunning unspoilt mountains in the north. Menorca is peaceful and unspoilt, and the most easterly of the Balearic Islands. Unlike Majorca, Menorca is not a party island, but it does offer its guests miles of un-crowded beaches, picturesque fishing villages and historic towns. The re is also the un-spoilt islands of Formentera, one of the smallest of the Balearic Islands, located just off the coast of Ibiza which boasts a length of only 12 miles from tip to tip. Most people tend to go on a day trip to Formentera from Ibiza.
